BLA is an innovative organization founded in 2016 by Michael Schwimer, a former Philadelphia Phillies pitcher. We partner with athletes to assist them in achieving their dreams of making it to the pinnacle of their sport by providing the resources they need to be prosperous: capital, a professional network, and analytical support.

No, the BLA deal is not a loan. It's structured as an investment in the player’s athletic career. There's no principal to repay and athletes only pay BLA if they earn professional income in the leagues that BLA defines as Professional Earnings.
If a Player’s career is cut short for whatever reason, whether being cut, getting injured, or retiring, Player does not owe BLA if they are not earning Professional Earnings.
